My cat has been with us for almost a year now and he HATES the outside. He'll get near the door, and sometimes he'll venture outside only to run back in a minute later. Today, I took him outside to go to a neighbor's house which has really friendly cats that I thought he could acquaint himself with. But, by the time we reached the street, he starting making a really weird noise; by the time we reached the neighbor's yard, he started to spasm; and by the time we reached the neighbor's door, he appeared to be having a panic attack. Is there anything I can do to cure this? He's a pretty crazy cat on average, but I don't want him to be deprived of relations for the rest of his life. :'(
