So my husband and his friend are being accused of a hit and run. So the cops have impounded the car. Well there is no evidence that they did it, the car has no damage to it, when the other car is pretty messed up. Well my question is, one of their friends is in town on a break from his truck driving job and all his luggage is in the car including his wallet and keys to his truck. He was suppose to get back on the road 4 days ago but the police wont let him get his belongings out of the car. So is there anything we can do? We are located in Topeka KS if that helps.
How can I get my belongings from a impounded car?
