...knows what their talking about.? I want to join the air force but have been told that since i am married to someone who is in the military, and have a daughter, that i would need to get a waiver. (family waiver i think). From my understanding the air force is not handing out ANY waivers right now due to the amount of people joining at this time.
since i am married to someone in the military i am almost in the same category as a single mom in the air force eyes. which i dont understand because there are many dual military/single moms in the air force.
so my question is, if you were in my situation, what needs to be done to get into the air force?
*anyone who has already answered this when i asked it a few weeks back and is judging me dont even bother answering my question.

charles- i already did. he was able to answer a lot of my questions but when it came to "single moms" and people like me getting in to the air force he was not able to tell me more than me needing a waiver for it. i asked how other single moms end up somehow getting in and he told me he was not allowed to talk about that with me.
Frank- my husband isnt in the air force, he spend 4 years in the army and is now in the national guard.
ur right, i am def trying to do as much research as possible instead of believing everything the recruiter tells me
- i already talked to a recruiter, i think i will just need to talk to more than just that one guy. like i said, he told me about the waiver and then told me he was not allowed to talk about it.

i'm going to keep talking to recruiters until i find one who is able to work with me. i havent taken the asvab but ill be sure to do excellent on it.
