How can i get him un-sports focused?

Okay, so i like this dude but his is way to focused on sports and grades. he has to keep his grades up to play sports. But i do too.
i cheer and he plays football.
I can juggle cheer, good grades, friends, a boyfriend, and family. (and im in the advanced classes!!!!!!!! he's not)
how can i get him to understand he can do that too?
And how can i get him to like me?

Trying to change someone is the worst thing you can try to do. It's impossible, and only creates resentment. Love someone for what they are, and overlook the flaws (or find someone closer to what you want).
