How can I get flexible for dancing?

It's all about the way you stretch your muscles.
If you want flexibility in your legs for instance, do things like lunges, lying over your legs while sitting down, touching your toes while standing, or the butterfly stretch.
To increase the flexibility in your sides, try side bends and twists.

Yoga will also help as it gets your muscles used to different ways of stretching, and different movements and shapes that are created with your body while you dance.
