I am caring for my nephew while the mother is in drug rehab and the father is about to be going to Iraq. It was going to be a short time but is now looking like it may be 9 months or more. I would really just like to get some help with the child care expenses so I can go back to work. I do not have legal custody, only a signed form from the mother, stating that I can make decisions for him while in my care. I don't want to go legal and cause issues for them. Just would like a little help and the father refuses.
