how can i get financial aid?

my mom makes a good amount of money a year and my dad is retired but my parents are always in debt so we barely get by month to month and its really hard to pay for college. i filled out the form for financial aid my first semester and i didnt qualify.. is there anything i can do to get it? or any other option to get help to pay for school?
 
well you have loans, if you are 24 you can apply as an independent or you can get good grades and apply for scholarships. You should see a financial aid counselor
