How can I get Barcode Scanner for my N73 ?

Hello all- I have tried in "Downloads" and "Catalogs" on my N73 but it is not available even when I refresh the list it's not there !!
Is there another source to get this on my phone ??

are you talking about the 2D barcode scanner???

i think it is not been released in the general public, however, it was being offered to some Nokia phones like N70 when i was in Manila, but it was also specific for one operator there... it was cool, once you got it in your phone, you can then scan some 2d barcodes they have put in the papers and your phone actually starts DL free stuffs from the operator...
 
I'm not sure what it's called but I had it on my old N73 so it is widely available. It was in the "Downloads" section of my old N73 and it worked great but with this new N73 it's not available anymore. Perhaps it's only on certain firmwares ??

What FW are you running? That's got to be the issue I would think. If you've had it in the past, and I had it on my n80ie then it's certainly available.
 
I'm running V 3.0638.0.0.1
It says on the Nokia site that it's the latest, wish I had my old firmware.
If I can't get it with this firmware would it be possible to download it from a website somewhere or is it the type of thing that can only be done through the phone ??

Dont bother, it doesnt run correctly on the N73. Camera issues.

When the next firmware can run it, the S60.com bloggers will let you know.
