How can i get additional financial aid for college after getting my award already?

I really want to go to northeastern, and they offered me a few scholarships, grants, and loans and such, but it's still not enough for me to be able to afford the school. Is there anything i could do to get more, or is that done? could i call up the financial aid office or something and they'd help me, or is that not gonna work?
 
you can apply for scholarships from outside organizations, but these usually only amount to around $1,000 each which may or may not help....
