How can I get a tire on a road bike wheel?

I have new tires for my road bike and I cannot for the love of God get them on the wheel. I'm sure they are the right size because they are the same size as the old ones. I just cant get them on. Ive searched tutorials and youtube videos and everybody seems to do it really easily.
 
Exactly what scrunge13 said. I would have rated it as a good answer but I'm not at level 2 yet.
