It seems to have rusted itself to the hose and I cannot get it off. I'd prefer to try to remove it before I get a new hose. I've already tried WD-40 and soaking it in hot water to try to get the attachment to expand off of the hose. It's on there pretty good. I'm about to go try white vinegar, then I may try some CLR. The net didn't provide much help. And going forward I'll be applying petroleum jelly so they don't stick together again!
Thanks Harley Jazz, your suggestion worked! I sprinkled a little white vinegar on it first, then went to work on it with two pipe wrenches, took under a minute!
