I live in Arizona. I have a juvenile record that is restricting me from joining the military. I was thirteen when i committed the crime. It is only vandalism and burglary in the third degree. Since then i have kept my nose clean and have taken all action required to make up for my crime. Im 19 now and in the process of my records being expunged. But my recruiter said my finger prints will always show up in the background check so i need to get a pardon if i want any chance of getting in. One day i want to be a Police Officer as well.
So i need to know how to get a Pardon from the Governor or from John McCaine (because he loves the military and will be more willing to do it)
Do i Just write a letter or go somewhere and fill out an application?
