when the clear gloss on my car is peeling like a sunburn and flaking off on the hood and the roof?any at-home products i can buy and use to fix it?!!thanks for the answers!

I had this exact problem on my honda civic a few years ago. Depending on how affected the area depends what to use. Mine was about 1/4 the size of my hood (accord hoods are slightly bigger). I used a product I bought at auto zone... Turtle wax! You have to peel the clear coat off until it starts getting hard to peel then apply a few coats of wax to make up where the clear coat is gone. Black is going to be quite easy because it's an already shiny color. Hope this helps!

There is nothing you can do. Try not to do anything to it, you will just make it more visible.

Nope you will just throw your money away and the car will look worse.

check around for paint shop that can repaint the whole car for 300-400 bucks. sometimes there are vo-tech schools that will do it for the price of materials
