A lot of problem be had with those, Windows from XP on always stuff you up with this or that usb device if you know you have data on it do not accept the O/S bull about no data nill this or that, it just has not installed the right driver for it or your Bios is pretty old and can't handle it, certain updates from Windows in the lst 2 weks also have added to the problem, go to your device manager uninstall the device you find under usb portsn (make sure the device is not plugged in) then put the flash drive back several times if you still have no satisfaction let me know I need to know what type of F drive you have did it work before(then you just roll back the driver) have you got data on it and did you set the drive for fast removel or cache(if fast then change to cache)
