How can I find the engine # for my Kawasaki KB2600B portable generator ?

I have looked everywhere on the engine and can not locate the engine #
Yet I need the engine # in order to purchase repair items!
 
Somewhere on the engine there will be a model/serial number. It could be on a tag or stamped into the metal. You will have to look the engine over. Sorry, but each manufactor puts their numbers in different locations but they all put the numbers on the engine.
