How can I find some simple jobs to pay bills?

I'm physically disabled. I'm not able to do yard work, but there are times I can do things, like type or answer phones. (It would have to be at my own pace, on my own time.) But honestly, I have no idea how I can use that to help me make just a LITTLE bit of money, on the side. I know not to trust things on the web, as they're just trying to get money. We have not asked for a hand-out, except for food stamps, and that's only because we have to feed our kid. (Trust me, it was a very modest stipend.) My husband's health is bad and deteriorating worse, yet stupid S.S.Disab. turned him down! (I guess he has to die for them to accept him, huh?) My family is struggling, and I'm kicking myself that I can't do anything to help, other than sell things we have (which is not worth much). ANY advice would be helpful.
