How can I find about my family history?

I'm really interested about my family past history. I was looking around the ancestry.com but i only got a few information because it requires full access and it costs. But the things I saw were that my family place of origins are England, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Poland. Life Expectancy was kind of above the average. Only occupation thing i found was F. & H. Insurance Agt. Ports of departure were mostly in England like Liverpool, London + Queenstown Ireland and Glasgow Scotland + Hamburg, Germany. I'm really interested about this kind of stuff. Especially because I have a friend of mine who's grandfather was a court count in Russian Empire. So basically it means that his grandfather was blue blooded kind of and also he is at least 70%. When soviets came to power, his grandfather fleed from the russia. My grandfather also fleed from the russia at the same time. I was started thinking that maybe I also have some kind of bloodline in my family because my origins are from England and Denmark, Russia and Poland, Germany and Swede. All those places have had monarchs and other higher society people in their services like court count + I have a jewish lastname (Rumberg) and my grandfather was extremely rich and greedy, he knew how to make money and was highly educated, when there were a deportation then he and his family survived, they didn't took his family and him.
This thing just makes me so much interested about my origin so I wanna find it out.
