the book described below? The phrase "in a brownstone" is in the book, but not the title.
Animals move flat around through the book because of problems with noise, etc.
In the end, two of the animals open a night club in the basement.
It's a children's picture book from no later than 1976. I am desperate to find a title/author to track down a copy to share with my daughter. Anyone know it, or have a better way to search? (Tried a lot of searching...)
