how can i download from newsgroups for free?

im trying to download a program from binsearch.info but i dont know how. all the programs ive looked at require me to buy a subcription.... looks kinda shady. anyone know where i can download from there for free? or what i need to do it? im really new at this.

Many "free" news servers are accidental - misconfigured loc al servers that are open to all when they are not intended to be - once they get known, they tend to overload badly, or get closed.

http://www.disenter.com/ - one site with some listed.

If you are looking for a news downloader, then Nomad might be worth a look, bit old though
