How can I convince my parents to let me buy a fish?

Tell them you'll definitely keep the tank clean, and do some research on what kind of fish you should have and why. Make a little presentation, and promise to do laundry and dishes for a month as payment for the fishy. (oh, and no whining-be adult about it) Hope this helps!

Just ask them. That or go get one and then they can say nothing about it jsut make sure you destroy the receipt.
