how can i convince my friends to go camping/ hiking with me over spring break?

we are all 16 and i wanna go on a 2-3day camping/hiking trip... however they all wanna go to the beach. It's my 3 guy friends that i need to convince, i've already talked the only other girl into going.
so how can i talk them into going on the trip instead of hitting the beach?
 
Why don't you find a beach that allows you to camp on it. I live in North Carolina, very close to Carolina Beach. They allow you to camp out on the beach. You get all the fun of the bon fires and sleeping under the stars if you want, and you're literally on the sand. It's a lot of fun.
