today my father and i went to look at '78 jeep cj5 renegade with either 50000 original miles or 150000 (we dont know if it has turned over once or not) the people want 1600 dollars for it. it has a 304 v8 3 speed trans and the only thing that doesnt work properly is the speedometer. even though it runs great with no leaks, he says that it is a piece of junk because there is too much rust ( the front floor pans, and the rear quarter panels and wheel wells on both sides) but i tried to convince him that i can re fabricate new metal pieces because i have the tools at school. so what do you think i can do to convince him that it is a good buy
