How Can I Connect To Cricket Broadband (USB) To Get Interent On My Acer Aspire 5552?

I am able to connect to wireless and threw the ethernet like plug but when i plug in the cricket broadband threw the USB plug and install it it still wont let me connect. i have to use a phone number to connect, but i cant figure out what settings i have to change or what i have to do to get it to connect to the internet!!! HELPP!! i have the ACER ASPIRE 5552
