How can i change the color in yahoo chat?

ok..so in the new mail you can chat with people..right? well my friend changed her color into rainbow. how can i do that? and also how can i change from black to blue? please tell me..thanks for all your help ;)
by the way i have a mac
oh n i meant she changed her color text,,so yeah ha
