Do I just...light it on fire? I've been told that I cannot just put it in the oven to obtain the desired heat to burn soil. My entire experiment is the affects of seed germination in regular soil, frozen soil, and burned soil. For the frozen soil I'm not sure exactly how I'd do that one either (I got this experiment idea online). Do I just put some seeds in a soil sample and stick them in the freezer? Suggestions please!
