I want to start my own local qvc type of show. Is there a way to broadcast locally? I was even thinking maybe there is a service like those local radio stations realtors use to sell homes - but in video. I know I could setup some kind of web broadcast, but I want the locals to see the show on their TV.
Possibly I could even manufacture some kind of device (and distribute it to all the locals) that hooks up to their TV and TCIP connection that dumps the web show directly to a particular channel number on their TV. Or at the extreme end of the scale, develop a set-top box that allows the user to use a remote control and keyboard to order directly off the TV - an interactive television application.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
