Ok, so, over the last year, I've gained 40lbs. Disgusting, eh? In all fairness to myself, I was grossly underweight and in an abusive relationship that caused me to develop a form of eating disorder. Since parting ways with that relationship, the weight I put on was, at first, healthy, but now it's been getting out of hand. I've reached a plateau in recent months and I've been neither gaining, nor losing, no matter what I've been doing. I'll be the first to admit that living on campus and eating cafeteria food definitely isn't to my advantage, nor is having extremely little time to hit the gym do to university workloads. But all excuses aside, I want to start fresh and go back to basics; I need my metabolism to be boosted before anything drastic can happen. For the time being, I'm going to focus on eating as healthy as possible here and in April when I return home, that's when the consistent exercising can begin. So .. my question for now is: what are the best things I can do for myself to get the ball rolling? I'd like to be 15-20lbs lighter come summertime, as well as being decently toned.
