how can I block my pain when I run and when I get winded?

I run for ten minutes at a pace of 5 miles per hour and I canot go anymore. I get short out of breath and I also start to cramp. I need to be able tu run 1.5 miles in 14 minutes and 30 seconds ASAP. what can I do or take???
