How can I back up everything on my iPhone and restore to another handset?

If you mean you're getting another iPhone...

You have all your Apps/Music etc kept in iTunes on the computer, so when you plug in your new iPhone, you will have all your stuff on it.

If you want it exactly the same, if you go into the preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac or Edit > Preferences on Windows), if you go to Devices, your iPhone backup file should be there.

So, when you connect your new iPhone, you might be able to use that back-up file for it.

My iPhone has a damaged screen. Luckily this is covered by my insurance company, who are sending a replacement phone by courier Monday and collecting the damaged one. How can I back up all my apps, data etc so I can put everything onto the new phone and carry on as though nothing has happened? Thanks!
