I want to hand draw some posters for a television show and use reference photos for the characters. I don't plan to profit financially, but I know ownership of photos and recreation of those photos is pretty touchy. Am I in the clear if I use studio-released promo photos? Or stills from the actual show? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
