How can I ask my mom to take me to a doctor to get tested for ADD?

I've always had most of the symptoms of ADD, but I never realized it until recently. I've asked NUMEROUS questions on YA about my disorganization, forgetfulness, lack of concentration, etc. and 99% of the answers were something along the lines of "Go see your pediatrician; maybe he/she can help you because it seems like you may have ADD". I still wasn't really that convinced until I took 6 different screening tests and they all said "ADD HIGHLY Likely--It would be beneficial to see a doctor immediately." -_- So, I had brought it up to my mom a couple times, and she always turned it into a joke saying "Oooh! You're going to have to see a shrink! How does that sound?" and just laughing at me like I was being stupid. So, I really don't know what to do. My lack of concentration and forgetfulness is REALLY starting to mess with my grades. I still manage to keep fairly decent grades, but I think it's because the school I currently go to is the exact opposite of rigorous. I really noticed my lack of concentration the other day though, when I was taking a science test, and I kept having to read the same questions over and over again(sometimes even the same WORD) because someone was lightly tapping their pencil and I just couldn't think straight. I got so frustrated that I thought I was going to cry. I had just barely finished in time and I'm pretty sure I BOMBED the test. So, again, how an I get my mom to take me to a doctor? I really don't know what to do. I'm going to high school next year and I don't want to have horrible grades because I get in A LOT of trouble.
Oh, I probably should've added this before:
I HAVE had tests done for the lack of vitamins and things like that; they all came up normal.

Well if you are having problems, and you're mother is making jokes about it and doesn't seem serious, try talking to your guidance counselor about it, as that is what they are there for, to help you. If you tell them what you feel, and that you told your mother and she didn't think it was serious, and you feel it is serious, it is their job to contact your mother and have a meeting with themselves, you, and your mother to discuss it and find a solution. Since you feel it will affect your grades so badly, this can definitely be brought up with your counselor in the meeting.

I hope I was of service hun. Good luck. Need anything, message me.
