when i bought my 96 civic, it came with the big muffler. its NOT a fart can, it really sounds pretty nice. i am in the process of installing headers as well (cheap stuff, stainless, off ebay), will this change the sound at all?
anyway, my friend was telling me about how he was installing a glasspack on his suburban to get the performance V8 sound and suggested that for my car (he thinks mine sounds too high pitched). i didnt think there were glasspacks available for my car (not that i even know what it is).
anyway, what could i do to alter the exhaust sound? what will it sound like with those mods?
i already added a cold air intake which gives a nice sounds from the engine when i gas it. right now im just looking at my options, not buying anything yet.
i also dont want to invest a lot into a d16 motor, i will be buying a b series later in the year in i'll splurge on all the fancy stuff then
