How can i add image to my php page?

I have written a html page and then i made it into php format and when i run it on wamp server , it does not pick the image ,what is the simplest way to embed image in php page .??and waht shoul be the simple applroach to make a simple online cinema ticket booking site in php as i am beginner ,please suggest me ?????
