How can I add a 3rd Dimension to my 2D Flash/Illustrator/Vector characters?

Hi there,

I rather enjoy Flash animation. I'm working on making some awesome animations, hopefully to submit to Newgrounds at some point, but I would like to make my Characters (which are predominantly Robots with lots of jagged angles) look a bit more realistic.

Currently I have front views and Side views drawn, but I would like to be able to have them from several different angles. It would really help if I had some way of turning my Vector Images into 3D models. Whether that be inside of Flash or Illustrator, or pasting them into a different program altogether. Also, the lines are fairly simple, so it doesn't have to be too Flashy, something that's easy to use would be very good (I've tried a few in the past and couldn't figure out how they work)

Anybody know?
