how can i activate my prepaid vodafone simcard?

ive got a vodafone prepaid simcard and it hasnt been activated yet, i dont have a vodafone prepaid certificate and i dont have a password for it either, i was just wondering if i could have a little help unlocking it or atleast activting it. thanks.
i dont have a sim starter pack nor do i have a password/pin either do i have an activation key.
