how can anthropologiests determine the sex of an ancient skeleton?

i know there is 2 important differences between the male and the female skeleton.

i thought it's:-

1-shape of the pelvis
2-shape of the skull and jaw

when i told my teacher my answer he said the second answer is wrong (he is a biology university teacher) but when i asked my brother (a doctor) he said my answer is right?!?!?!?!?

plus the teacher said i need to be more specific in the first one

any help guys......please

I am no doctor or teacher but I would expect that a woman's hips are wider and their shoulders are narrower.
