How can an atheist complain about how a Christian acts?

First of all, where does an atheist get his credentials to be a judge? You are judging a Christian based on the Bible? A book you don't believe? If you say you are basing your opinions on "right and wrong", where do you get your knowledge of this? How is an atheist (and I hope I am spelling it right... if not, please don't go on and on about spelling - it's so annoying!) supposed to act according to another atheist? Are you all free to murder and the like? And if not, where do you get your morals?

This is a serious question... it's not intended to be rude.

Second... What makes you think athiests dont have morals? How are we supposed to treat each other? With respect and kindness. When Christians force their beliefs on others, it is neither kind, nor respectful.

Where do morals come from? They come from socialization, and that is the case for athiests and Christians alike. You were taught what is right and wrong the same as I was taught what was right and wrong, the same as the humans who wrote your text were taught was right and wrong.

Being a Christian is not supreme morality. How many things happened in the Bible that we consider immoral? I bet we would all consider stoning a woman who doesnt have a hymen immoral, wouldnt we? But it was religious law in the Bible to do so.

Is murder free to all? Of course not. My principle to live life by is that I shouldnt not harm others, and treat others the way I want to be treated. Murder harms the person you are killing, as well as their family.

But murder IS free to some Biblically, isnt it??? Didnt God kill everyone except Noah's family in the flood? Didnt God kill the first born in the passover? Didnt God destroy Sodom and Gomoreah? Didnt God kill his own son? Dont most Christians support the death penalty?

Why do Christians belittle Atheists just because we don't have the same religious views? Why do they think we are satanic and evil, and that we are all headed for hell?
