How can a YOUNG person obtain or reach investors to start a business?

by young i mean a 16-18 year old who has some good business ideas and has carefully planned his development. How so can one start a business at a young age? Is it possible to obtain investor help? How would one start off? If one finds an investor and the idea is a big hit, can the person, being under 18, receive the profits or will the investor(s) receive all?
