Flash drives are used for data storage. They have nothing to do with the speed of your system. If you are using a flash drive to run the application from it then install it on your hard drive. If it is installed locally you may be mistaking flash drive with RAM. For ram buy as much as you can afford. If you want to increase the speed of you flash drive make sure you have your bios settings correct ie USB 2.0 not UDB 1.0 and update USB drivers.

Good Luck!

try adding ram instead of just extending your paging file.
system boost is just an extension to your paging file really and the best way to describe it is like a dish under your tea cup to catch whatever spills....if you really want to do more you should just get a bigger tea cup, which here is your ram

i'd tell you to upgrade your processor and graphics card but that can be a daunting task on a laptop and often you'll find that laptop manufacturers make it so you can't upgrade your graphics card.

16gb flash drive can really speed up your system

i reccomend amazon.com or newegg.com
