My chihuahua has flaky, scabbed, flea infested, red skin. He is always itching and seems miserable. He stinks and has a jacked up nasty lookin coat. Now, I feed him the most expensive food I can find, I bather him in herbal shampoo and oatmeal conditioner every other week. I gave up on flea baths or treatments because literally they never last longer than a day. I do not know what to do with this nasty dog. Is it a nutritional deficiency? Will Omega 3's and 6's help? Eggs? What the hell can I do to fix this sick disease ridden dog?
I'm not going to take him to the vet. It's just not going to happen. It's ridiculous to expect someone to pay over $500 to cure a skin disorder that can be taken care of at home by diet change, nutritional supplements, and herbal and oil skin treatments. Stop wasting your time trying to convince me to go to the vet. This is not a place for a forceful argument. If you cannot answer the question, move elsewhere you're doing no good here. I do not care how you bicker or how you complain and whine. I'm not going to take him to the vet. That would be stupid. I'd rather my dog die than pay half a damn paycheck that could go towards keeping the house or improving my credit or saving for retirement. A dog is a dog. I would never pay $500 to get a skin treatment. Never.
