How bad are my Mets when I rant about how bad they are and a PADRE fans tells

me the r better than the Mets? How horrible are we? not as bad as some I know, but ...our pitching isn't there, our bats seem silent, what gives?
 
it is still early my friend...only 3 games back

no question starting pitching is crucial, a change may need 2 b made...they may need to add a gun; however, it's too early to tell who is selling starters (altho early word is cleveland is tryin 2 unload cliff lee already)

hitting really isnt that bad...delgado is doin what i knew he would...take a huge contract and bat .250, this year shud b his last in a Met uniform...move murphy to first and sign an OF...jose reyes is startin slow, but he will come around...everyone else is batting well


o and that padre fine should be quiet because they are atrocious and will probably finish last in their division if the rockies don't...they hav 2 good pitchers and nothing else....mets start slow...padres idea of starting hot is their 11-14 record and their current losing streak of 5 games

Mets seem to do this lately...start slow, end hot...well hopefully they can keep consistent and make the playoffs...without starters tho...they will not
 
It is early yet. Keep the faith. Our starting pitching(except Santana) has not looked good, our bullpen(except K-Rod) is shaky, a lack of clutch hitting and leaving too many runners on base, and our new Stadium forgot to identify the name of our team(except on the scoreboard full of advertisements) and any of our past players. I heard it from a good source(many inner being) that things can only improve and get better.
