how are you supposed to make your life better if you have no idea....?

Some people think you can just jump into the car and drive. Other people want to plan their way around every bump in the road. Either way, how will you know which way to go if you don't know where you're going?

Ultimately, the purpose of philosophy is to help us live better lives. Think carefully and long about what it means to live a better life. You will find that it has more to do with establishing and cultivating meaningful relationships with people in your family and among those friends who make your life happier, richer, fuller, and more satisfying and less to do with material wealth, except where wealth improves your comfort, happiness, and relationships.
 
We just have to have this idea in our heads of what we want to do with our lives it's frustrating, as it can sometimes take years to figure out.
