How are the Tritton AX360 5.1 Gaming Headsets?

Tritton AX360 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Gaming Headset...

I would like to buy one, however there are a lot of bad reviews for them. For those who have used them, what do you think of:

-the bass response, I like it really loud and convincing, does it do this?
-the mic quality, mute controls, game chat, etc.
-are they good for Call of Duty 4/Waw
