How are the organic molecules produced as a result of photosynthesis important to you...

Plants are capable of producing the complex nutrients needed by them and other living things using small basic molecules and ions as starting materials for example, carbon dioxide, water, nitrites, iron, magnesium, phosphate etc

With these and the energy from sunlight they produce sugar and then amino acids, fats and vitamins which heterotrophs like animals can't produce. They are entirely reliant on plants for producing them.

Therefore without plants they wouldn't exist as they would have no food source.

In order for most heterotrophs to produce energy required to sustain life (ATP), it needs to perform Kreb Cycle. Prior to Kreb Cycle, glycolysis needs to occur to provide pyruvate for the Kreb Cycle, and the organic molecule from photosynthesis (glucose) is a necessary substrate for glycolysis.
