I have just recently submitted my application to Emory University. Their website states that all applications must be submitted before or on February 1st. They are located in Atlanta, Georgia so they are on the Eastern Standard Time. I reside in Orange, CA so I am on the Pacific Standard Time, and my application was submitted on February 1st, 10:39 P.M. However, my account from this institution states that it was submitted on February 2nd. I can't imagine that I have been the only person in the world to have encountered this issue and I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and give me some details. Thank you for your time and consideration to help me out.
How are the graduate school deadlines evaluated in terms of Standard Time?
