How are the Democrats going to do in a debate against the Republicans?

When Obama and Hillary have to support the huge tax increase to support their universal healthcare, their willingness to lose Iraq, the problem of forcing states to increase taxes for mandated education programs that the federal government has no business dealing with and is unfunded, and their limited experience; how will they do? Will the American people accept change for the purpose of having change, rather than reasonable policy?
The vast majority of Americans are not in favor of bringing troops home. It is slightly more than 50% now. As for the idea of universal healthcare, most Americans want it, but is it something they are wanting to pay for?

Many of the people who do not have health insurance choose not to pay for it, and they do not realize the expense it will create. (Over $110 billion according to Hillary, and her numbers don't reflect the increase in price that results from an increase in cost. That's basic economics.)
 
As long as the Debate is a Debate, and not sound bites,
and certainly not moderated by Left wing media puppets,
it could be interesting to see who actually has a plan and
at what cost. The Moderators should be Non Political types.

Well spoken, Articulent individuals who know the rules of
debate, and will not allow a lot of Bull shit to go on,, I would
certainly watch it,
 
Hillary would make McCain look bad. She is that intelligent. Doesn't mean she would be a good president. Obama has been exposed. I don't think anyone other than his supporters will even listen to him now. He would not get many undecided votes or Republican cross over votes.
 
The dems will do great in a debate against any republican.

The vast majority of Americans are ready to get our troops out of Iraq. It's not a matter of us losing the war, WE have already won. We have accomplished the goals we went into Iraq for, now lets get our troops out of Iraq and get them where they need to be.

The polls also show that the majority of Americans want some form of Universal Health Care, both candidates propose a plan which isn't extremely costly to America, and the plan doesn't call for an increase in taxes on the majority of Americans.

Throughout the years the dems have been prefered to handle domestic policy adn the repubs have been prefered tohandle international matters. I think this election cycle the repubs are going to face some tough scrutiny in regards to Iraq, and it will be reflected in the November elections.
 
how much are we spending in Iraq a month......we can't do that for ourselves......because what we doing over there is so very important to us.
 
It appears that alot of people are living in la la Change land, the land of denial. Obama & Hillary will not speak the truth of these facts- they are trying to win.
