magistrate court? do i have to pay my fine even if i am appealing. i have good evidence in my favour, but in the end it came down to who the magistrate believed, me or the police officer. i want to take it further as i now no the police officer lied 3 times. it was at south tyneside magistrates England

You can't appeal on a question of fact. The magistrates have heard both stories and have decided that the facts they believe to be true are those given by the police officer.

You could only appeal on a point of law or if significant new evidence was to become available.

Give up and pay your fine.
