...from stalling engine? A couple years ago I had a bad water pump and saw leaking under the engine. Before I knew it was a water pump problem I was looking at why was water dripping under the engine. I saw a corner of a fiberous matte material hanging down and pulled on it and it came out.I threw it away. Then much later I was driving through a lot of big water puddles and water splashed up under the engine and it stalled out across the highway as I was making a turn. Fortunately there were no other vehicles coming at me. It started again in a few seconds but scared me plenty. I have looked at all the jeep parts listed and cannot find anything that matched that part. I need to replace that part before it stalls out and causes an accident.
