How am i meant to upgrade my freeview box when freeview comes built into my tv?

How am i meant to upgrade my freeview box when freeview comes built into my tv?

It says on the freeview site (on the page about HD)
"Viewers who want to watch the new channels will have to buy a new set-top box incorporating the superior MPEG-4 rather than MPEG-2 compression technology"

How am i meant to do this when i dont have a freeview box, just the tv with it built in?
 
Either buy a new tv with MPEG-4 built in or additional set top box with MPEG-4. Technology is developing so fast at moment that you simply have to keep buying new if you want to keep up.
