How am i a product of my environment?

Your environment has the potential to affect you in many ways. For example if you're parents are extremely wealthy and have provided you will all the luxuries accorded to that elite group, it may be possible that you grow up very spoiled...... Not necessarily, but if you do, then you are a product of your environment. If you are in a single parent situation and your Mom works all day leaving you alone and you choose to hang out in the street all day with a local gang of budding thugs and criminals, then you are a product of your environment.
 
Well, someone who has influence over you has taught you that you don't have to pay attention in class or read your notes and think for yourself so now you believe that it's okay to just ask someone else to do your homework for you.

in part, you're a product of your environment -- your environment doesn't include these psych methods, so you didn't know they exist, and you can't start learning them, so you don't know them or use them, so the other guy [the one who does know them] has a huge advantage over you in doing deals.
